The Teak trees were planted in 2000 by the company Consulting and Services in General, CEPSA. in a reforestation project in lands located west of Panama City, District of Arraiján, Province of Panamá Oeste.

The company has Forest Registry No. 02-2000 of the National Environmental Authority. The Teak trees were planted in 30 hectares of land, complying with the approved Environmental Management Plan No. IA-044-2000 of the National Environmental Authority (Ministry of Environment of Panama).
